I love all snow sports but my true passion lies in anything skiing; downhill, mono, (even water skiing...), I've set my next challenge to learn telemark! I've been fortunate enough to learn to ski from the age of 7, and hold special memories of family time in the French Alps. I also met my husband, Harry on the slopes of Val Thorens!
Whilst working in the London Market, I joined the Lloyd's Ski Club where I had my debut (amateur) racing experience for the Lloyd's Ladies team at the City Ski Championships & Financial Times Alpine Forum. I was awarded the Lloyd's of London Insurance Cup for most improved skiier 2020... having won the Isokinetic Best Wipe Out Award the previous year! I raced the 80th International Inferno (2024) ski race for the Kandahar Ski Club. Following such exhilaration, I have signed up for my first AICC (Amateur Inter-Club Championships) with the Ladies Ski Club for 2025!

I grew up with parents who loved to ski and so they passed down the joy of skiing to me and my sister, taking us on ski holidays to the Alps every year, where I started skiing around 4 years old. I had my ups and downs in French ski school, but by my teen years I was well and truly sold on this sport! After graduating from university, I took a gap year in Austria and trained to be a Ski Instructor on the Kitzteinhorn glacier– passing my Austrian “Anwärter” exam and then teaching kids group classes for 5 months for Ski Schule Arlberg (St Anton). Although this was just a gap year for me, skiing is still one of my favourite hobbies.
Most recently, after moving to Bermuda, I have been making the most of skiing in Canada - in the last two years I have skied Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, Kicking Horse and Revelstoke. It’s been a pleasure to try skiing outside of the Alps. My dream would be to go Heli Skiing – which I’m hoping is something I can make a reality over the next few years (give me a shout if this is something that interests you too!)

I'm a self-taught snowboarder, born and raised on this beautiful island. I'm bringing experience of the Canadian slopes to our club, having surfed Mount Tremblant, Quebec, and Blue Mountain, Ontario. What gets me stoked? Helping others catch the snowboarding bug. It's all about the joy of gliding down the slopes, island-style. I'm thrilled to be a part of this ski club's committee, where I'll be organising our fantastic social events! While I may be a relative newcomer to skiing, having only ventured onto the slopes twice, skiing has quickly become a passion of mine, and I'm determined to improve my skills one run at a time. The only time I want to be in the snow is when I am skiing, tubing, or snowmobiling. I was thirteen when I first began to ski, and I have loved it all my life. Being from Chicago and going to university in Michigan, I would always ski at the (not too far) ski hills that were available. Once a year, travel to the East to experience a real mountain. As a young adult I would get all my friends into skiing. I would take the youth group from my church skiing and often I was the one giving ski lessons. Some of my fondest memories as a young adult was traveling to places like Whistler, Deer Valley, and Vale with a group of young adults. We would rent a villa or a house and party the whole weekend.
Then I grew up got married, had children and now it’s time to get them on the slopes. I would love to see more families in Bermuda experience the winter landscapes that Bermuda Snow Society will provide.
