At Bermuda Snow, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy the slopes, regardless of their experience or budget. That’s why we’re proud to launch Re-Ski, an initiative designed to make skiing more accessible for beginners by reusing and recycling ski gear.
Re-Ski is a sustainable and community-driven program where our members can donate their old but good-quality ski clothing and accessories to the club. These items will then be made available to new or beginner skiers who might not have the proper gear, helping to reduce the financial barriers to enjoying the sport.
We’re accepting the following gently used items:
Ski jackets
Ski pants/salopettes
Goggles
Gloves
Please ensure that all donations are in good condition and fully functional. Your contributions will help new members start their skiing journey with the proper gear and confidence.
If you’re a beginner or new to the club and need gear, Re-Ski is here to help! Borrowing is easy:
Join the Re-Ski Initiative WhatsApp Sub-Community. (You must join the Society's Whatsapp Community first).
Start a conversation, flag what items you need. (If you're conscious about sizes, a private conversation can be started).
Attain available items from the club.
Enjoy your time on the slopes!
Return the items after your trip in good condition.
To keep the program sustainable, we ask borrowers to replace any items that are lost or damaged during their use.
Affordable Access: Skiing can be expensive, and proper gear shouldn’t be a barrier to participation.
Sustainability: Re-Ski promotes reuse, reducing waste and the environmental impact of the sport.
Community Spirit: This program strengthens our club by bringing members together to support one another.
Every item you donate could help someone discover the joy of skiing!
Simply bring your donations to the club’s next on-island social, or contact us to arrange a collection.
Let’s work together to make skiing more inclusive, sustainable, and fun for everyone. Join us in supporting Re-Ski today!
